In 1979, Patagonia invented a new fabric designed to keep its wearers optimally warm: fleece. Fleece is made of 100% polyester and retains heat very well due to the roughened fibers. The fabric is a lot lighter than traditional warmers such as wool and cotton and therefore ideal for sports, utility, or outdoor activities. Practically every imaginable piece of clothing can be made of fleece, but the fabric is especially suitable for making warm jackets and sweaters. These are the categories that we mainly offer on this page. Our fleece items come from the  80s, 90s and 00s, but the focus is mainly on fleece gems from the 90s from brands such as Nike, Fila, Adidas, Helly Hansen, and Ellesse
